The AcademyAfrican Bible College Christian Academy was started in 1998 to serve the missionary families of Lilongwe. In the last 14 years it has grown to serve the larger expat and Malawian community of the capital city. There are over 300 students enrolled in Pre-K through 12th grade. The academy has always relied heavily on support-based missionaries from the USA to keep tuition low and quality high. Becca has taught Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades, while also serving as Head Teacher for a year. She has taught ballet after school the past four years and was responsible for the creation of the yearbook. Becca is able to stay home with the boys most of the day, teaches the Yearbook class at the academy, and now oversees housing on the ABC campus. Kellen is the Head Teacher in Charge at the Academy and directly oversees the teachers and students in grades 6-12. He also lectures an education class each semester at the college.

The CollegeGod is so gracious, to equip and then use us, in unique ways for the service of others. Growing up playing soccer and playing in college got Kellen ready to coach soccer for the ABC Lions in Malawi. African Bible College exists to train Christian leaders who will transform Africa for Jesus. Sports has always been a part of that vision at ABC. Kellen is excited to use training to develop character traits like humility, hard work, and selflessness. Games are opportunities to compete, but also to share about what God has done in their lives. The guys on the team use their skills to serve children through clinics and weekly outreach. Kellen is excited to be a part of this growth for the guys on his team.
